Arrival: 4pm - 10pm please
Regret we cannot accept early arrivals of either guests or luggage as we need until 4pm to prepare your room.
Departure: by 10.30am please.
Please double check the dates and room choice you have booked.
Availability & Tariff can be seen online.
Payment is taken in full at time of booking. Receipt on arrival.
Tariff includes VAT No: 981 7201 15. VAT receipt emailed on booking.
If your on line booking is within 24 hrs please could you phone as well on 01297 32036.
Tariff includes breakfast.
Christmas Day: no departures or new arrivals accepted, limited room service and Continental Breakfast provided in room.
If you choose to change your room as part of your stay we reserve the right to charge an additional £20 swap fee as 2 major cleans and laundry involved.
Minimum Stay
Minimum stay 2 nights all weekends (Fri & Sat eves) year round, all June, July, August, September, Christmas and New Year. (Any 1 night gaps between bookings will be released on line or phone us).

Green Discount 5%
If you travel to us by public transport we are pleased to offer you 5% discount on your booking on presentation of a travel ticket for that journey (subject to terms and conditions). Use promo code GREEN on booking form or mention it to us if booking by phone to get the discount.
Cancellations
If room/s relet for full period booked via Hedgehog Corner refund may be given less 10% may be given.
If room/s relet for full period booked via an Agency then pro rata refund may be given less 20%.
We are unable to offer transfers of bookings. Amendments subject to T&Cs.
Any refunds are entirely at the sole discretion of the Mangement or Proprietor and their decision is final - correspondence cannot be entered into.

Holiday Insurance
Please consider holiday insurance, particularly in winter months and check policy covers car travel, some only cover public transport. We have had several bad weather winters which now come as no surprise so please insure your holiday to cover all types of cancellation.
Dietary & Bedding Requests
Bedding is feather with feather toppers on the mattress with a set of 4 towels per person.
We can offer non feather bedding.
Full breakfast menu on web site. We can offer a Vegetarian menu, soya milk and home made gluten free bread.
Please note your requests on booking form online or send us an e mail 24 hours before arrival
Please be aware nuts are used in some products. Non smoking within the B&B.
Christmas Day is Continental Breakfast.
Breakfast is served from 7.30am onwards. .
Early Morning Departures
We recommend you choose the Retreat room as this will avoid disturbing sleeping guests in the main house.
We provide a breakfast box in your room if you would like a very early breakfast.
Wi Fi
Is free. Wi Fi always works in the dining room which is accessible 24/7. Can be a weak signal in Retreat.
Pets
We cannot accommodate your pets as we have a dog in our apartment which is kept away from guests. Assistance dogs welcome.
Servicing the Rooms
Once booked in the room is available to you 24/7. Rooms serviced until 11.45am. We attend to the Retreat woodburner and reset it for you during room servicing.
Left Items
As twice weekly is now the norm we have to charge £5 + P&P as this involves a special trip to the Post Office.
Access Statement
Full Access Statement in menu bar, or please phone for a chat to discuss your requirements. Drive has a slight slope so sensible footwear - use rear access via garden if in any doubt about walking down the sloping drive. Front door drop off & parking for elderly or infirm - just let us know prior to arrival. Retreat has steps. All house bedrooms on first floor via staircase. This property is not suitable for those with impaired mobility or wheelchair users.
Accidents
Any accident or injury sustained in any circumstances on our premises must be reported immediately to a member of staff please and a report filed in our Accident Book that you should sign.
Force Majeure
In the unlikely event of a major event forcing us to close either the B&B or a room/s (i.e. electrical failure, fire damage) we give as much notice as possible and will refund any monies paid by you for a deposit or full payment, this being the full limitation of our responsibility to you. We will not accept liability for any of your travel costs or related expenses. We will endeavour to assist you in finding alternative accommodation if at all possible.
Complaints
Must be made before departure. We would like the opportunity of rectify it.The person who makes the booking is the person responsible and any concerns should be raised by them before departure please. We cannot enter discussions raised by a 3rd party.
Rowdy Behaviour & Our Nice Local Taxi Drivers
Taxi numbers on page on web site. Any rowdy or disrespectful behaviour to either us or our guest at Hedgehog Corner B&B will result in my terminating your visit immediately with no refund. Please ensure you are happy with your chosen taxi arrangements and that the price is within your budget. We get very upset if guests are disrespectful to our local taxi drivers all of whom we know and who have served our business well over the last 13 years.
Damage
We reserve the right to charge for damage or missing items.
