A brand new, recently opened March 2013, fully equipped, contemporary, detached, private self-catering one bedroomed cottage.
Overlooking a private garden with lavender and heather shrubbery. Views of adjoining fields where deer and rabbits can be seen, wooded copse and bluebells in springtime.
Set in the grounds of Hedgehog Corner away from everyone. Less than 5 minutes drive to River Cottage HQ and the coast at Lyme Regis.
The Retreat Cottage is an ideal base for your holiday exploring the Jurassic Coast.
French doors lead into the open plan kitchen with breakfast bar looking out onto the garden with large patio, BBQ area and bistro table and chairs.
Fully equipped kitchen: Dualite kettle and toaster, Joseph Joseph utensils. Everything you need including built in dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob, fridge freezer and washer drier.
Useful items included: dishwashing tabs, kitchen and loo rolls.
Sitting room has a leather sofa with reclining seats, TV with selection of DVDs and a "real flame" feature fire with mood lighting. Thermostatically controlled instant panel heating throughout.
A king brass bed made up for your arrival. Plenty of towels including bath sheets, a TV, radio alarm clock ipod dock, hair drier, iron & ironing board.

The bathroom has a rainwater shower plus a hand held spray, underfloor heating, shaver point, sensor lit mirror and electric towel rail, hand soap and moisturiser.

For every new arrival there is a welcome basket waiting for you in The Retreat with local Clipper refreshments, local Moore's biscuits and a two morning's supply of cereals with milk, home baked loaf, butter, orange juice, dozen free range eggs
and minature preserves.
You will enjoy a visit to the Town Bakery in Lyme Regis or Millers Farm Shop nearby to stock up on tasty local supplies.
Own safe parking bay, walking distance to Inn that serves food, bus stop and near Farm Shop. Hi-vis jackets and torch supplied for walk to pub or River Cottage - see menu for taxi information. Electric car charging point.
Wifi available in main house 24/7 - key given.
