Dear Guests and those thinking of booking:

GOVERNMENT LOCK DOWN AND IF THERE IS ANOTHER: Just to reassure you that if there is another Government Order we will transfer your booking to another similar seasonally priced date in either 2020 or 2021 which ever you find suitable.  We are a small business and hope that you will book knowing that this is the booking condition should there be another lock down.

CLEANLINESS: We can reassure our Guests that we are accredited through a PERSONAL INSPECTION by an OFFICER from Quality in Tourism and were one of the first in the country to be awarded their ‘Safe, Clean & Legal’ certification.  The property will have a full and thorough clean between bookings.  Cleaning materials are provided at the property. We do recommend you may like to bring your own pillows for your own peace of mind. We have the Visit England ‘Good to Go’ Accreditation that confirms we follow Covid Cleaning Guidelines and also hold a 5 Start Hygiene rating with East Devon Council who have inspected our hot tubs.

HOT TUBS: We use a chlorine sanitiser and the highest levels of water checks are carried out by me personally – either very early in the morning before you get up or when we see you and your car are out for the day.  We will not visit the property when you are in situ unless you call us out or there is an emergency.

SOCIAL DISTANCING AND PRIVACY ON SITE  The Retreat is detached, private and secluded with your own hot tub, parking area, entrance and front door.  You won’t see another soul whilst at the property or in the private property’s own garden and terrace.  Acorns, which will be opening at a later date,  is a large separate apartment with own hot tub parking area, entrance and front door, again you won’t see another soul whilst at the property or on the apartments own private terrace.

I live on site well away from the properties and guests and will endeavour to give you a warm Socially Distanced Welcome and from the garden path tell you how the hot tub works and answer any questions.  Your key is in a key box, the code is emailed to you 6 & 2 days prior to arrival.  Please return the key to the key box on departure.  I will also endeavour to give you a Socially Distanced wave from the main drive on departure when you are level with Reception (and check the key is returned to the box).
